Ride Overview
The Texas Challenge begins March 30 - April 5 - from Brooke Army Medical Center to Dallas/Ft. Worth. This event will be the first of 4 major events for 2009. The rides will be limited to 200 participants with a minimum donation. The riders will receive a Road 2 Recovery jersey, socks, and T-shirt. The donation will also include housing, limited rider support, luggage transportation (70lbs max), daily route guides, marked course, rest stops, snacks, meals. There may also be nighttime entertainment on selected evenings.
Additional support includes: A raffle of fabulous prizes could be awarded to the top fundraisers. Local training opportunities and a recommended training guide are available. Fundraising support including an online fundraising guide to provide both the training and tools needed to meet fundraising goals.
